![]() The blast reaches 5 meters at a 90 degree angle.Decent damage, decent everything. You channel the frigid north winds to unleash a blast of icy breath, which immobilizes enemies and makes them more susceptible to damage. It rarely procs, and I get the same benefits from my armor and weapons anyway. The chance of activating Rampage goes 5% for the first level and 2% for every point after that.I'd advise against this. (At level one you have a 5% chance of activating Rampage where you gain 25% Faster Attack, Cast Speed, and Movement Speed for 5 seconds. I regret doing it.) Anything that gives you more charge is always good.Įach enemy you kill with a melee weapon has a chance of spurring you into an adrenaline-fueled rampage. I, personally, don't use it because I spec'd enough into focus (increase elemental damage and execute) that I don't need it, but I'd advise others to get it unless they're doing the same. (2% chance to Execute at first level and increases by another 2% for each subsequent level, Charge rate is increased by 6% for 2 seconds and goes up by 3% for each level (subsequent levels untested)). When you successfully execute, you gain Charge more quickly for a short period of time. Your ferocity in combat enables you to deal more damage when wielding two weapons at once. You can also crit rather easily with high level Berserker gear. Characters that wield fast attacking weapons, such as claws, might consider using this as their primary form of health recovery. Because frenzy causes every strike to be a critical, having 1 rank in this skill makes you almost invincible while in frenzy. As the Wiki puts it,īlood Hunger is an excellent skill for all melee Berserkers. (5% at first level and increases by 0.5% with each subsequent level up).Īre you melee attacking? Why not? Max this skill. Whenever you land a critical strike with a melee weapon, you draw life essence from the carnage, healing your wounds. Enemy armor is weakened with each strike.Another skill I've never actually tried. You execute a brutal series of slashes, inflicting three strikes on all foes within 4 meters. After a brief delay, the target explodes, damaging all foes within 4 meters.I've never put points into this skill, but it sure sounds useful.Use your own judgement here. You knock a single enemy back with a devastating strike. Incredibly good skill for survivability, and damage. Gain power based on foe proximity, and around Tier 1 you take less damage based on foe proximity, as well as a flat amount. The rage lasts for 60 seconds.Īnother ESSENTIAL. You enter an enraged state during which your damage is amplified based on the number of foes within 4 meters. ![]() Distance is increased to 9 meters at Tier 3. I find it useful for large mobs and the stun, but I can see arguments being made against it. ![]() You lunge forward in a 6 meter dash, claws slashing, rending all foes in your path.Shadow Burst, but without the healing, and a stun. I can't even see the damage increase being that useful seeing as its only 2 seconds, and you're going to be going crazy with damage anyway. Raze does not generate Charge. It doesn't generate charge, and is single target only. With each successive hit, you grow in power. You perform a devastating uppercut that inflicts heavy damage on a single target. You should be spamming this every time you get into a fight with more than 4 or 5 enemies. It has already a pretty insane base range, and it just gets BETTER each tier. Affected foes are slowed and become less able to defend themselves for several seconds.ĮSSENTIAL SKILL. You Howl in fury, filling nearby foes with terror. Put points into it if you think you're going to use it, otherwise ignore it. You're going to be killing things too fast for the bleed to matter much, but it's fairly useful for that brief arc burst, and the AoE aspect. Requires a melee weapon equipped in the right hand.Ī fairly valuable skill, mostly early game though. Eviscerate attacks gain half of normal Charge. Base range is 2.7 meters within a 120 degree arc. You tear into all enemies directly in front of you, leaving them bleeding for 6 seconds.
